IELTS Exam Preparation

An IELTS exam is an English language test designed to test the knowledge of a student. A high score from an IELTS exam will help students get into a higher education course, or help them with finding a job in the Australian work place. It proves that the student has sound English language skills, including communication, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, writing and reading ability. These skills are vital for students wishing to study further in Australia.

The exam preparation course gives students the skills they need to successfully complete the course. A teacher will go through all the different components of the exam and let them know what they will and won't need to know.

There are two different IELTS exam preparation courses, the Academic exam preparation and the General Purposes exam preparation. The Academic exam is for students who need to complete the exam to obtain a high enough IELTS score to help gain them entry to University. A general purpose exam is for those wishing to enter the Australian work force.

Both of these courses are available at all English language schools around Australia, many are available in both full and part time study mode. Students need to have a IELTS Exam score of 5.5 or higher, so an exam preparation course is ideal to help all students reach this goal.
